15mm Avar / Sarmatian cavalry being sold on eBay

I'm selling 41 nicely painted and presented Khurasan Miniatures 15mm Avar cavalry armed with a mix of bows and lances, with 4 more Light Horse archers (which I think are Minifigs?) too. 

They are listed on eBay with Global Shipping enabled too so you can buy them from anywhere in the world and eBay will ship them to you. 

They are all painted, and based up on DBx-standard 40x30mm bases with magnabase on all of them for safe storage in any metal tin or toolbox. 

These 41 figures would allow you to make up the DBA army III/13a Avars 553-557AD & 642-826AD, or  II/26 Sciracae, Iazyges & Later Rhoxolani Sarmatian 310-375BC , or form the core of a very handy ADLG or DBM army / allied contingent -  I think you could also use them as Goths, Huns or any sort of Steppe Nomad types and no-one would blink an eye.

They are based up with a mix of 2, 1 or zero "barded" horses on each base allowing you to easily differentiate between different grades of cavalry in your army list even without even needing to set off down the "different coloured flowered grass tufts" route. 

Looking more closely I think a couple of spears have broken off in the many years since I bought and painted these - which isn't too bad out of 37 lancers who've seen reasonable tabletop usage, and I'm sure you can reasily replace them of just hide the pair of guilty geezers in this mass of hard-charging lancers anyway.

These are being sold to make space in my Bisley cabinets as part of my grudging "one-in-one-out" resolution to try and keep a lid on the number of figures that I actually own.

Forza Italia!

With a real competition looming, the personal painting has been tricky to fit in lately however the eBay campaign for selling Clive's stuff has thrown up some really nice armies this week, all of which are on eBay under my eBay ID of the_lithuanian 

The pick of the bunch is certainly this very, very nice (and large) 15mm Flames of War Italian army, with loads of customized options. 

There's so many figures, guns and tanks it'll be shipped in 2 separate boxes!

Also on the FoW front is this stunning Finnish army, with what looks like spring/summer and winter options. 

Not sure I've ever really seen that painting technique used on tanks that well before now.

On a totally different vein, there's also an "old school" Hinchcliffe/Garrisson/Lamming style Hellenistic Successor army that would make a perfect ADLG Successor force (with a spot of rebasing and some minor repairs) 

Great to see some of these old figures again!

More of Clives collection on eBay

 In a week of busy shed-excavating and bubble-wrap cutting I've now blitzed my way to a whopping 51 active eBay listings and counting as I continue to post items from Clive McLeods wargaming collection on eBay on behalf of his family.

This lot has a few ancients listings, but the vast majority is Flames of War and Dystopican Wars - the latter being a system I know almost nothing about at all.

Yet more 1/300th Desert stuff on eBay

In what should be the final couple of batches of an epic downsizing annd refurbishing project, I have two lots of micro-armour on eBay right now, both of which end on Wednesday evening UK time.

One lot is a large Arab battegroup of T55's and T72's with BMP's, trucks, AA, SCUD missile launchers and a couple of Hinds as well.

I also have 28 M60A1's, plus a couple of M113's to tag along behind

10mm WW2 on eBay

I've been using the lockdown to do a bit of clearing out of the gaming room cupboards, so if anyone is sat there thinking that their 10mm WW2 solo-gaming collection needs some reinforcements I've just lobbed some Eearly War French, Germans and British, some Mid/Late War Brits and a set of US Paras onto eBay as part of my own domestic rationalization process :

It's a space-making sale, so everything starts at a quid, and a share of the proceeds will go to SSAFA (the UK armed forces charity) as well.

I've only put UK postage as I'm not fully confident about international mail right now, however I do have a post box that can take parcels on the route of my daily legally-permitted walk as well, so no worries there either..
