Lisbon Artillery Museum

A load of fairly random photos are now posted on the Madaxeman.com Facebook page from a trip to this museum: You don't need Facebook access to see them !

Brazilian Artillery

Just added 44 pictures from Fort Copacabana in Rio, the Brazilian Army Museum. Some interesting artillery, and mannequins in period uniforms from Brazilian history, from the European colonization to WW2.

A real World of Tanks

A new set of museum photos, this time from the Imperial war Museum in Duxford. Oddly enough whilst there are a load of planes in the photos the bulk of the photos are of tanks from the Land Warfare Hall

Enjoy!

Armed Forces Museum

Just come back from a trip to Florida where I visited the surprisingly decent Armed Forces Museum. It;s the personal collection of a single chap but laid out as if it were a "proper" museum - and very well done it is too.

It has a collection of artefacts from WW1-modern day, with themed areas for several major conflicts - the oddest thing about it is that it's in a nondescript industrial unit tucked away at the back of an estate, just off a minor highway.

Anyways, some of the photos are a bit blurred, but you hopefully will get the idea. Worth a trip if you are down that way.

Evergreen Aerospace Museum

Juct gotten back from holiday and added a few pictures of an air museum we managed to sneak into. This one is the Evergreen Aerospace Museum, home of Howard Hughes' monstrous Spruce Goose prototype transport plane. Lots of WW2 and post war aircraft, but lots and lots of Spruce Goose photos!
